Edwin

Established in Tokyo, Japan in 1947 Edwin has a true heritage.

The first pair of Edwin jeans was crafted in 1961, utilising the letters D, E, N, I and M (reversing the M creating a W) the brand name Edwin was created. By 1963 Edwin has produced the worlds heaviest ringspun denim, 16oz, featuring the famous three colour rainbow selvedge which is still being used today. In the 70’s the company developed the ‘old wash’ and in the 80’s Edwin invented the ‘stone wash’ which revolutionised the entire industry and was a pivotal moment in the evolution of denim manufacturing.

Today Edwin is an authentic denim brand priding itself on innovation and craftsmanship, utilizing exclusive fabrics and fabrication, unique technology, hand wash processes and continual progression in design and fit.
