In 1922 George S Bailey Established the Bailey Hat Company in Los Angeles California. He understood how Hollywood’s leading men were considered global arbiters of taste and style, the original “Influencers” if you will. With celebrities such as Humphrey Bogart, Cary Grant and Gary Cooper now wearing Bailey, it cemented his reputation as Hollywood’s premiere milliner and soon the brand also became known as Bailey of Hollywood. This branding is still present on the branding today.

Bailey Hats continue to produce a range of heritage shapes and distinctive styles that are classic, timeless and essential.

When Buying a hat you should look out for the following:

* The hat should sit comfortably mid-forehead above your eyebrows and not obstruct your view.

* The sweatband inside the hat should provide a snug fit, not a tight fit. If you feel any tension or end up with deep red marks on your forehead, pick a looser-fitting hat.

*If you can fit one finger between your head and the cap then you know you have the right size.
