Earth Day 2022

This Friday the 22nd is Earth Day. Every year, Earth Day offers people around the world a chance to focus on the planet and the challenges facing it. It is a global annual event intended to prompt discussion and action around environmental causes.

This year’s theme is “Invest In Our Planet”, encouraging individuals, businesses and governments to invest in technologies and practices that can benefit the Earth.

To mark Earth Day Tonic will be donating 10% of our sales in store and online to our partner The Rivers Trust. They are currently raising funds to produce the State of our Rivers report. The report uses innovative online mapping tools to give people the information they need to make decisions and take action in a user friendly format. You can see last year’s report here.

Our donation will be also matched by the Green Match Fund, you can see the Rivers Trust campaign here. 

I love my walks by the river with Patch, they set me up for the day and any challenges that lie ahead. It might not be much in the whole scheme of things but if we can do anything to help raise funds and awareness in the fight to restore and maintain the health of our rivers I’m all in!
