Most of you will know I’m into football and have an allegiance to a particular team, they’re doing pretty well this season but I won’t go into that here.

Instead I’m going to tell you a story about a new addition to our Tonic fold of brands. A few months ago a friend of ours, Nico, set up a brand named FUTSOL, selling football inspired jersey’s with a colourful twist. The moment he approached us with the samples we knew it was a good fit for Tonic, we like football and we believe clothes should be about about quality, texture, feel & weight.

Currently there are 4 colour options available and each one has a unique story. We love the fun but subtle branding & attention to detail of the jerseys, with their handmade embroidered appliqué crests.

Paloma – Like football, doves can touch everyone, connect everyone, bring everyone to dry, peaceful land.

Naranja – Orange trees. A golden ball suspended, plucked from a branch. An offering sparkling with thirst-quenching natural juice. 

Sol – The sun is on the pitch, in the pitch, on your skin, in your brain. It’s in the ball in the sky. On the centre circle and the penalty area.

Aceituna – An olive branch between people. The fruits of football, harvested. A game between strangers. A shared wisdom leading to a kickabout in the sun.

Designed to be worn on and off the pitch, Futsol’s first collection is inspired by European summers. Constructed with a 180 GSM single jersey piqué fabric made from 100% recycled polyester fabric and cut for a slightly boxy, more relaxed fit, the jersey feels at home putting in the work as it does for a look of leisure.

Football is the beautiful game and touches so many of our emotions, we love the Futsol story and the philosophy behind it, get in sometime and have a look we think you’ll be impressed.
