Next up, American brand Colorful Standard’s Merino Wool Turtleneck offers a stylish option with a bit of edge. Lightweight and breathable, this stylish piece shields you from the elements and is bound to become one you’ll reach for all season long.

Denim

These Regular Straight Jeans from Edwin are made from a 14oz Kurabo Recycle Red Selvage Denim Fabric and showcase the traditional aspects of premium Japanese denim. The name ‘selvedge’ refers to the fabric being self-finished; it’s constructed using a traditional method and the wefts are continuously passed back and forth with a shuttle. This process is slower so selvedge denim requires craftsmanship and the fabric is praised for its durability. In a classic straight silhouette, these jeans can be dressed up or down and are a standout pair in any wardrobe.

Cotton-Wool Blend

A good sweater vest is the perfect piece for layering, and this Far Afield Pinto vest will become an essential part of your rotation for the transitional months. The allover diamond cable stitching, fabricated with flecked yarn, adds texture to a simple silhouette. Dress yours down with a tee or up with a button-down for those more formal occasions.

Twill

Workwear jackets, otherwise known as chore coats, are the perfect blend of utility and style. Easy to wear, their simplicity makes them the ideal partner for almost anything in your wardrobe. The style originated in France and was first worn by French labourers in the late 1800s; this Organic Twill Workwear Jacket by Vetra is authentic to its origins and has been produced by the same family in France since 1927. Cotton twill is characterised by its diagonal weave pattern, and is an excellent choice for the workwear jacket due its durability, breathability and versatility.
